Arrival Leh Airport. Thrilling journey !! It’s as one of the most sensational air journeys in the world. On a clear day, from one side of the aircraft one can see at a distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun Massif. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transferred to hotel for check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by welcome tea or coffee at the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (the highest motorable road in the world) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley with seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the Valley of Flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our camp or hotel. Evening we drive to Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snowcapped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. Seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire valley. Later we drive back to the camp / hotel in time for dinner. Overnight

Our morning drive takes us from Swiss lakes to Swiss Army. At the once-secret Swiss army bunker at Fortress Fürigen, we’ll see part of the massive defense system designed to keep Switzerland strong and neutral. Afterward, a short drive into the countryside brings us to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg, our picturesque home for the next two days. We’ll settle into our lodge then head out for an orientation walk. Our stroll through the village will end at the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation. You’ll have free time to wander back before dinner together. Sleep in Engelberg (2 nights). Bus: 1 hr. Walking: light.

Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to Leh via Changla Pass (5486 mtrs) enroute visiting the Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and another 5 Kms driving through a picturesque landscape we reach to Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh & 3 Idiots Rancho School. Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

We drive from Leh to Mulbek – Kargil, through a spectacular moonscape. We drive over the Fotu La (14,000 ft), a high mountain pass and exit the Indus valley. Enroute, we do a photo stop above the Lamayuru monastery belonging to the ‘Red Hat’ sect. Overnight stay at Kargil.

After breakfast we will leave for leh,Overnight in hotel leh,

In the morning take a full day guided sightseeing at Leh covering Shey, Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace,Spituk Gompa,Namgyal Tsemo,Sankar Gompa,Hall of Fame,Evening back to hotel for overnight stay.                          

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport  take a flight for Kolkata.
